TouchPoints, the leading provider of solutions to reconnect nonprofit organizations with their donors, alumni, members, and supporters, today announced that it is extending its technology platform to support for-profit businesses. The proprietary, cloud-based solution searches through dozens of databases and billions of data points to provide the most accurate and current information to TouchPoints' clients, which include some of the largest universities, arts, and civic organizations in the United States.
"Over the past several years, we've perfected our system and optimized our algorithms to ensure that we are providing the best, most accurate, information to our clients," said Chris LoPresti, the founder of TouchPoints. "We've made considerable investments in our technology platform to establish what is a major differentiating capability for our company. We are pleased to be able to offer our solutions to for-profit businesses of all kinds."
TouchPoints had been beta testing its expansion ideas in the second half of 2013 and was very pleased with the results. Beginning this month, the company will officially begin marketing and services to for-profit businesses in the retail, luxury, publishing, technology, professional sports, automotive, and tourism verticals.
"We're particularly excited about our opportunities in the luxury space," said LoPresti. "We've seen a strong interest there already, and we believe we can add significant value to our clients. Our emphasis on privacy and security is par ticularly important to these businesses, as it is to us."
TouchPoints was born out of a need for one of the largest youth organizations in the United States to find its lost alumni. TouchPoints find missing person proprietary, cloud-based technology solution transforms outdated contact records into actionable information that empowers its clients to strengthen relationships with their customers, donors, or alumni. The technology has since scaled to service nonprofit and university clients, and is now moving into for profit verticals, working with brands across retail, publishing, tech, professional sports leagues, and more. |
